Gloucester Primary Cricket18/03/2010
Steve Silk, Development Manager for Cricket has enhanced cricket for up to 11 primary schools in Gloucester SSP. The coaching will be offered in the build up to the primary tournament that will take place in May.
A challenge was made by the Headteacher at Hempsted to offer coaching before the tournament. Steve Silk & Alan beard met with the head and from this meeting Steve has been able to secure funding from sports unlimited funding.
This will benefit the young people in the schools and offer then all the benefits of playing this sport. The Year 6 tournament is planned for May 26th at Winget Cricket Club in Gloucester.
